Rain, rain go away--Lordy, I can't even remember it going on this long or hard, with this month lightning and thunder--and I was born here.
But, just when I feel the most vulnerable, the most lonely, the most challenged (my printer isn't working and I HATE fixing these kinds of things myself), someone sends me something that makes me laugh until I pee my pants. This time my friend Ann sent me a link to Hargo at Not-Rocket-Science where he built portable saffron gates for his cat in several places in his home. What a pick-me-upper. I especially liked the media photo, but the whole series--including the poopatorium--is worth seeing.
But for more of the real gates, Loretta at Pomegranates and Paper, writes about her and husband Stan's visit to Central Park yesterday. You might also want to see Deb T.'s photos at Connections. And Lorianne's Hoarded Ordinaries has some great ones and wonderful links.
As for me, I'm in the midst of computer manuals, software--you name it and tears are streaming down my face from frustration--but the printer works!
