The journalist in me is always in search of "the story" in every person I meet because I'm totally convinced that every human being on the planet has a story. When I people-watch in crowds, I make up stories in my head about them--and I have a few friends who are willing to play that game with me. Life is NEVER dull!
I have never met Peter Fernandez of San Fernando City, who you see here from the "Celebrations" classifieds in the Sunday Daily Breeze, but without fail there is at least one photo of him every Sunday with a musician or a beautiful woman--and his smile is identical. I'd swear it is his face superimposed with various people, except Peter does wear different clothes. The Daily Breeze, of course, divulges no information, but I wonder if Peter takes out classifieds in all the smaller L.A. newspapers. A Google search reveals two musicians (neither of them him), an anime expert, and some scientists--but not "my" Peter Fernandez with his ear-to-ear grin.
So, do any of you out there in Cyberland have any idea who Peter is and why he takes out ads in the local paper? If I don't find him soon and hear his story, I'm going to have to make one up. Or you can help me by making up one yourself.
