For the past weeks I have been working on my entry for what I thought my art group was calling "The International House of Turtles." Forty of us received 5" x 5" canvases and we had to choose a country's flag and use those colors in our art work. I chose Tuvalu whose flag you see below.
It is mixed media and the good news is that I am happy with the work I did, which is rare. The bad news is that I just got an e-mail from the art group reminding us our "International House of Pigs" is due tonight. Pigs? What planet was I on? This week I read about the aging brain in the Los Angeles Times and they used a phrase I hadn't heard before--cognitive regression. I guess that describes me, but hey. I did enjoy doing what I did and I guess that's worth something.
