Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow. --Melody Beattie
I hope your day has been filled with family and friends, good food, laughter and gratitude for everything we have in our lives. I, for one, celebrated with extended family last night and my daughter and her family came for a big breakfast we all cooked together this morning. Now everyone has disbursed except my former son-in-law who is watching football. He is like another son to me. I'm planning to work on art journals and begin creating my 40 hand-made Christmas cards, continue reading "The Miss New India," and probably napping, too.
By the way, these flowers were sitting on the table at the Malaga Cove Library last Sunday when I volunteered at a reception for local homeowners.
